BTA APPROVED RESOs CONGRATULATING TESDA DG MANGUDADATU

COTABATO CITY—The Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament adopted on Thursday, June 22, 2023, three resolutions expressing utmost gratitude to His Excellency President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. for appointing Secretary Suharto ‘Teng’ T. Mangudadatu as the 14th Director General of the Technical Education Skills Development Authority, or TESDA. These are the Proposed Resolutions 296, 301, and 302.


PR 296 was principally authored by MPs Diamila Disimban-Ramos, Michael Midtimbang, Ali Sangki, Mohammad Kelie Antao, Tawakal Midtimbang, Suwaib Oranon, Mudjib Abu, Bassir Utto, Rasol Mitmug Jr., Ishak Mastura, Suharto Ambolodto, Sittie Fahanie Ut-Oyod, Khalid Hadji Abdullah, Amilbahar Mawallil, and Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, while its co-authors are MPs Susana Salvador Anayatin and Nabila Margarita Pangandaman.

While PRs 301 and 302 were authored by MPs Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, Michael Midtimbang, Diamila Disimban-Ramos, Sittie Fahanie Ut-Oyod, Rasol Mitmug Jr., Suharto Ambolodto, Tawakal Midtimbang, Bassir Utto, Mudjib Abu, Mohammad Kelie Antao, and Suwaib Oranon.

The authors said the appointment of Director General Mangudadatu as TESDA Director General is a big win not only for our country but also for the Bangsamoro people.

With this, they also cited that the problems will now be given attention and that technical-Vocational Education and Training in the region will be improved.

The recent Bangsamoro Parliament’s session adopted fourteen resolutions, including the abovementioned resolution.

Meanwhile, Secretary Mangudadatu led his first flag-raising ceremony on June 19 at the TESDA Main Office in Taguig City.

The cabinet official encouraged the staff of the agency to intensify their collaboration with its regional and field offices for the proper implementation of TESDA programs. (BTB)
