 By: The Mindanao Today (Region)

The office of Bangsamoro Parliament member Diamila Disimban-Ramos, together with the Bangsamoro’s Ministry of Public Works (MPW), successfully held two (2) projects in Lanao del Sur that aim to light up roads to improve the safety and security of every Bangsamoro citizen, especially women and youth sectors.

On March 5, 2025, MP Ramos and MPW break ground on the installation of twenty-two (22) solar streetlight packages in Lanao del Sur.

Held at Barangay Ilian in Marantao, the project was funded under MP Ramos’ 2024 Transitional Development Impact Fund and the Public Works Ministry as their partner implementing agency.

[As Chairperson of the BTA Committee on Women, Youth, Children, and Persons with Disabilities, it is important to us that our programs and projects have a direct impact on the daily lives of our constituents, especially women. This project is proof that our government is not only focused on big projects but also on concrete solutions that improve the security and comfort of everyone.]

As displayed, twenty-three (23) barangays from different municipalities were identified as their recipients.

"Alhamdulillah! Asad Lomangco, representative of MPW-LDS I District Engineer Abolcair Langilao stated.

[We continue to witness the good results of MP Ramos. We see this in the rapid implementation of his projects and his unwavering support in the development of infrastructure in Lanao del Sur, especially in District I. I hope that such projects by MP Ramos will continue to help our Bangsamoro citizenry.]

[This project is a testament to the true concern of our Bangsamoro government for our communities. We in the Tamparan Municipal Government are deeply grateful to MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos for her continued support and appreciation for our town. This is not the first project she has brought to us, and we hope it will not be the last. Through such initiatives, we are gradually promoting a safer, more prosperous, and progressive Tamparan.]
