[THE MINDANAO TODAY] LIGHTS UP, BANGSAMORO: A SOLAR STREETLIGHTS PROJECT
By: The Mindanao Today (Region) The office of Bangsamoro Parliament member Diamila Disimban-Ramos, together with the Bangsamoro’s Ministry of Public Works (MPW), successfully held two (2) projects in Lanao del Sur that aim to light up roads to improve the safety and security of every Bangsamoro citizen, especially women and youth sectors. On March 5, 2025, MP Ramos and MPW break ground on the installation of twenty-two (22) solar streetlight packages in Lanao del Sur. Held at Barangay Ilian in Marantao, the project was funded under MP Ramos’ 2024 Transitional Development Impact Fund and the Public Works Ministry as their partner implementing agency.
