[THE MINDANAO TODAY] BARMM WOMEN COMMITTEE CHAIR UNVEILS NEW BUILDING
By: The Mindanao Today (News) COTABATO NEWS DESK – Empowering women and cooperatives in the Bangsamoro region, continues. This after, the Bangsamoro government recently unveils a new building in the town of Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao Del Sur, primarily dedicated to the welfare of the said sectors. Funded through the 2020 Transitional Development Impact Fund of Bangsamoro Member of the Parliament Diamila Disimban Ramos, with the Ministry of Public Works Maguindanao Del Sur District Engineering Office as partner implementing agency, the P3.5 million worth building features a function room, meeting room, and an office suited to cater to the needs of women in the community. In her social media post, MP Ramos, the Chairperson of the BTA Parliament’s Committee on Women, Youth, Children, and Persons with Disabilities said that this project will also strengthen the committee’s women agenda promoting throughout the region.
